Livingstons - WEST CALDER

Visited this weekend for lunchIt's a really interesting placeYou need to walk down a little alleyway and the restaurant is in a conservatory.

Attentive staff, nice atmosphere and very nice food. I would have given as more veggie options would be good but they are flexible with their menu and gave me lunch food at breakfast time so giving after all. (BUSINESS HAS SINCE CHANGED HANDS)

This is my favorite restaurant in the city with excellent eating in a great environment, fantastic service with a super wine list. it is not a cheap meal at any stretch, but good value exactly the same. a relaxed atmosphere in a cozy atmosphere ensures a good night. even with a small menu, there is always enough to choose and remember to make space for pudding.

Had lunch indoors yesterday although my friend mentioned sitting outside would have been nice as it was a lovely day but we were ignored ..it seems the waitress was having a difficult and not very engaging through the whole meal ...we left feeling we were not very welcome....we also left a good tip but we're never acknowledged a good bye , thank you etc.....shame

This weekend to lunch. it is a really interesting place. they need to go down a small lane and the restaurant is in a winter garden. there's one.
