We had a great welcome and really superb food. The building inside and out looks neglected but the hospitality is not. Terrific crab thermadore. On a cold blowy day a fire would have been good.

Proper place which celebrates fine craft beers and a great range of excellent ciders. One excellent reason for visiting the town.

Nice spacious area, a warm welcome and superb food. What else could you possibly want. We tried 2 of the 3 specials and were very happy with our choices.

Sad really and although the team were nice this place has lost its sparkle. It is not cheap so why paper napkins and not a fresh flower in sight? The cod was OK but not exciting and I had to ask twiceczytaj dalej...

And a terrific team who run the place. Proper and friendly pub. Just what you need on a dreary, drizzly Dartmoor day. And dogs are welcome.

What a splendid surprise. We were told it was good but it is very good indeed. Quirky, yes but what excellent food. Sure to return but must remember to book.

Only Bristol cathedral Canons manage such a welcome. It turns out that you should know you can only eat if you book in advance. Wonderful eh?
