Tatale Vegan - Accra

This place has a very local feeling. if that's what they're looking for. we went when it was only opened after we had heard that the owner owns his own vegan restaurant in london. we were super excited, but this is definitely not a good restaurant! we were disappointed. eating was very average, not impressive enough to go back. to be fair, it looked like they were trying, but they have far to go to British standards. do not definitiw my cup tee.

Good, but not too big a choice of dressed. they could be a little more spicy.

It only succeeded in delivering on this ocassion, but it was fantastic! so delicious! very well packed. I ordered kichererbsalat curry with brown rice, asked for something tofu on the side and oh wow! it was so well flavored. I also tried to do. everything was simply wonderful, mouthwater and full taste. can not wait to visit the restaurant in person.

My husband and I went to Ghana for my birthday in July 2021 and I was unable to find great vegan food in Ghana so I decided to try happy cow to see what was available. I was not impressed and actually deeply disappointed with the food and lack of taste. We ordered the apple crumb for dessert and that was the final disappointment. We did enjoy the atmosphere though but this isn't a place I would suggest for soul food vegans.

We had the best food of our stay so far at Tatale! Within a few days in Accra we went twice to try as many food options as possible. So many fresh, delicious options and a great mixture of local dishes and international choices. The people were super friendly and provided us with great service. Would definitely recommend and go back there soon
