Mancino's Pizza Grinders - Alpena

I was in town for business and discovered Mancino's Pizza Grinders through Google, checking out the reviews. Thankfully, it was just down the street from my hotel, so I drove over and ordered a medium pizza to go. The lady at the counter was polite and helpful, even mentioning that it happened to be the daily special. My order was ready in no time. Once back in my hotel room, I enjoyed digging into the pizza. The pepperoni was delicious, and the dough was really fresh. I managed to finish the medium pizza by myself, but it definitely left me feeling full.

Three out of four times I've had food delivered to the popular store where I work, they arrived late and got my order wrong.

Have eaten here many times in the past few years. We are in Michigan 4 months out of the year for the summer. Its definitely one of the first restaurants we come to when we arrive, and one of the lasts before we go home to Texas. Sandwiches are huge andDevine! Have had a few salads that are huge and deliciously filling!

I usually enjoy Mancino's, but I was quite disappointed today. They forgot to make one of my salads, so I had to wait for it. When I finally got to eat it, I found a lot of wilted lettuce and spinach in it. It was not very appetizing to see black, mushy greens.

We wanted something quick tonight. A chain is rarely our choice. I waited 53 minutes for take out pizza. The only thing that upset me was that a female supervisor type employee asked for the name on my order at the 33 minute mark. She returned shortlyand very nicely informed me that it was coming out of the oven?another 20 minutes went by and a nice young lasy brought out myorder. Why wouldn?t the supervisor just tell me someone screwed up? THAT would have been super impressive. Owning up to amistake is respectable. But, my fault for going there in the first place.
