Acquolina-aspen - ASPEN

Upon our arrival, there was no host to greet us. We decided to try the special appetizer, but at $50, it felt overvalued for just a ball of mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, and shaved prosciutto. We also ordered three different pasta dishes, but unfortunately, none of them had much flavor. Additionally, our pizza order was mixed up. The service was quite slow, which added to our overall disappointment.

The food is exceptional; I can't think of a single dish that doesn't taste fantastic. We genuinely felt that the portion sizes and the quality justified the NYE pricing. We are actually planning to return for another dinner in just a few days, but I wanted to take a moment to share our appreciation for all the hard work that made the New Year's dinner so special. We're already looking forward to our NYE plans for next year; it was that wonderful!

I had a wonderful experience overall. I enjoyed the ambiance, although the music was a bit too loud for my liking. It's on the pricey side, but that's typical for Aspen. The ravioli portion was quite small—only about six pieces for $30—so I didn't find it very filling.

Mediocre food at exorbitant prices. I would not recommend it.
