"This is definitely one of the best spots to enjoy a delicious piece of chicken! The food was excellent, and the sweet potato fries were absolutely fantastic! Our waitress, Cindy, provided friendly and attentive service. While I would have liked a better selection of craft beers, I did come here for the chicken! The prices are quite reasonable; for under R300, you can feed a family of three or four. Parking is easy, and there are car guards available."

The food was so delicious that I didn’t even have room for dessert, despite eyeing their French Lemon Tart and hearing rave reviews about their Gingerbread Milkshakes. While I awaited my friend, I sipped on a Watermelon and Ginger Spritzer, which was refreshing and sweet, although I wished for a stronger ginger flavor. Once my friend arrived, we ordered Chai Lattes and indulged in a variety of appetizers suggested by Terrence, including the blooming onion—an absolute delight! Its flavor profile is so good that you almost forget you’re eating an onion, especially when paired with their Roasted Garlic Mayo and spicy hot sauce that definitely packs a punch. We also shared some wings, which were equally delicious, showcasing their excellent seasoning and cooking skills. We tried the coleslaw and potato salad (the latter made with RJ's house mayo and pickles, though it was a bit bland), along with Spicy Corn Salsa (which could use a bit more kick) and crinkle-cut sweet potato fries that added an extra layer of flavor. Now, let's talk about the chicken. It was juicy, flavorful, and prepared the traditional rotisserie way—so tender! It had a secret spice blend that I couldn’t quite identify. I couldn't resist trying one of their tempting sandwiches, so we shared the "Tequila Lime Chicken" Baguette—filled with rotisserie chicken, tequila, fresh lime, chili, corn salsa, avocado, cheddar cheese, and RJ's house mayo, all served on a fresh baguette. It was amazing! After that, I was too full to try anything else, as everything was just that good. Before leaving, I treated myself to a shot of Leonista 100% Karoo Agave Spirit honey Reposado to keep me warm. Thank you, Terrence and Cindy, for the incredible food, attentive service, and for quenching our thirst. This place is definitely a hidden gem in the shopping center. They serve simple, quality food in generous portions. They also have some off-menu items they're testing out, but the offerings that are on the menu—chicken, sides, burgers, sandwiches, desserts, and salads—will keep you coming back for more. The chicken and service here are outstanding. There's a great selection of chicken-focused dishes, and they also offer coffee and desserts.

The chicken here is awesome! I order a 1/4 chicken, some wings, their Dijon mayo and their potato salad. It was all great. The place is very clean and inviting. I look forward to going again soon.

So, I went past this little place to give some of their menu a bash. Unfortunately there was a power outage so I couldn't sample everything I wanted to off the menu. What I did try though was their Hot Chicken Burger with extra Cheddar. Absolutely delicious. Definitely not hot enough for a hot, but the quality of food was amazing. Will be back again soon.
