Beck's - Augusta

I have been to Becks multiple times and I really enjoy it! I had a small problem with my salmon on a previous visit, but it was quickly resolved and I have not had any issues since. The service has always been outstanding. I prefer to sit in the front area, and when I make a reservation, they always make sure to seat me there where it is more lively. I love the atmosphere at Becks! The food is consistently delicious every time I visit.

My husband and I went to Becks for the first time based on recommendations to try the oysters. We had to make a late reservation, but it was fine. The service was exceptional and the wait for our food and drinks was reasonable. The oyster selection was fantastic, and I easily ate a dozen. I had originally wanted the blackened grouper, but it was sold out, so I opted for the fried lobster tail, while my husband had the fish and chips. Overall, the food was just okay. I would go back for the oysters, but I would pass on the main dishes. We had higher expectations based on the hype. Service was great, and the atmosphere was lovely. Dining in for dinner cost around $30-50 per person. Food: 4, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

We go for the oysters, often a large selection. Their fish entrées don't disappoint. The back room is loud. Our fave place to sit is at the oyster bar. Kid-friendliness: Not ideal to bring infants and toddlers.
