Hostellerie Le Vignier

Wir würden dieses Lokal nicht mehr besuchen. Das Essen war geschmacklich okay, jedoch sehr hochpreisig für ein Bistro.

Beautiful view and terrace, good food without being exceptionnel, staff unfriendly and not making you feel welcome.

This restaurant has been a favorite of mine over the past 3 years but lately it has (after a mgmt change) even at best mediocre. The view is still spectacular but the service level has dropped dramatically. I will give it one more shot but...I will not hold my breath!!!

I was recommended the restaurant by a colleague at work and decided to take my parents there I was not disappointed! A lovely setting with a great view of Lac Gruyere and on a day luckily enough to sit outside. We had the menu...de jour which was a very reasonable price but still very tasty......the full menu also looked very appetising. So together with excellent and friendly service, we had a great meal. We enjoyed the full evening set menu, including the excellent cheese selection, and local wines recommended! The one thing we would like to be improved is the seating the tables are a little bit too close together, a little more privacy would further...enhance the great overall experience. We stayed overnight (quiet, comfortable room), and had breakfast there too the breakfast was good, though the selection was limited there were only very few guests, so this is understandable. Overall, we had a nice time there, and do not miss to visit the village up at Gruyere Castle !
