The locals rave about it and as an outsider I get it. The salsa is really good with a nice kick. The chili verde is tender but honestly could use a bit more flavor but all around is pretty solid. The food was outstanding, earning a perfect score of 5. Every dish was delicious and expertly prepared. The service was equally impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was delightful, creating a welcoming and enjoyable setting for our meal. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for breakfast!

4 stars. Update: The restaurant has been spruced up and looks great! The food and service have both improved; my meal was delicious and reasonably priced. I tried the chilaquiles with eggs and the salsa chips, and I appreciated receiving two different salsas with my order. Menudo is available every day of the week, although it’s not on the menu—I’m looking forward to trying it on my next visit!
