Narai Thai Restaurant - Balwyn

We regularly get takeaways from here - their food is delicious. Their red curry is the best you'll find anywhere. We prefer getting takeaways from here, rather than eating in the restaurant, as it can get really noisy.

We visit this restaurant quite regularly and have never been disappointed. The food is fresh and delicious. Service is friendly and fast. We had had take away, popped in for a quick meal or lingered longer with friends. All experiences have been most enjoyable. The decor is as would be expected in this type of restaurant but not worth noting as the fabulous food and warm and friendly atmosphere are the highlights.

It's been a year since I've been here and it's still great. The duck curry remains a standout among other terrific dishes. Service is friendly and brisk. Prices are most reasonable. The restaurant was much busier than when I was here last. The crowd was decidedly middle aged tonight which probably explains the small number of reviews. I find it hard to criticize anything here and look forward to returning.

Delicious! We asked for our food to be veganised and it was no problem at all! Best Tom Yum soup ive had! Soooo yummy!! It was nice being served by lovely Thai wait staff who looked after us as soon as we walked in the door! Definitely recommend this place, we had dinner before we saw a movie at our fav cinema - palace Balwyn!

Been here four times and loved it each time. Basically it's the best mid priced Thai I know of and I know quite a few. Tonight we ate two of the specials - red curry duck and slow cooked lamb Massaman - together with mixed seafood basil. They were each absolutely delectable and the serves are generous and not expensive. Add really friendly and efficient service and you've got a fantastic local restaurant. It's a beauty. I can't wait to return.
