The dining area was very good. However, on my next visit, I would use the Bar area as this seems to have the best bargains in food and drink

Love the ambiance. Everyone loved their dinner with exception of Shepherd’s Pie. Very little lamb in it. We had a great time

Great food and atmosphere. Wonderful place for a Holiday dinner or other special event.

Sunday night we invited friends to celebrate their anniversary at Greg 's Grill. Jay was our waiter and did a great job. When we paid our bill, we included a 2018 Be My Guest gift certificate (from our neighbor) for $50 that we just found in a stack of old Christmas cards. Nowhere on the document did it indicate an expiration date. Jay returned apologetically saying The new owner would not honor the GC because it was issued from the previous owners, and it would be like losing money directly from his pocket . Being in the customer service business for over 40-years I asked Jay to clarify with the owner (who never came to our table) he/she would rather lose our business as long-term patrons than not honor a legitimate gift certificate that someone did in fact pay for when purchased? Jay left again and came back saying the owner refused to honor it. I rarely write reviews choosing to simply use the 5-star system. Personal attention and customer service doesn 't exist at Greg 's Grill any longer. Maybe the new owner needs to look at the large number of other quality restaurants in Central Oregon to choose from when dining out. That 's where you will find us enjoying food and drink in the future.

We went to Greg’s as a matter of convenience for our anniversary since we were staying near by. Our waitress Britt was great. Wish I could say the same for our meals. Both the rosemary chicken and my filet were tough. I had to send the filet back to bring it up to medium rare. That always puts a damper on a meal. Basically there was nothing special about our meal but the company. For a lunch or cocktail on the patio in the summer I might return. Otherwise, I’ll pass
