This is one of these special places you will only find in Berlin. Not easy to find with the charme of a forever unfinished place. Try the cocktails and the excellent food while sitting at the River Spree. Afterwards you can hangout with other people in the beergarden area, having a bottle of beer.

We have been sitting on the water and watching the sunset. the service was excellent but not intrusive and with much knowledge to eat and weep. the price will meet the quality. I received the choices from the menus great.

On the wood market area, so a bit hippie-town, next to the nightclub katerblau, Electro-Club, is now the completely new opened restaurant katerschmaus, earlier there was the smaller fame that is now largely closed. the catschmaus has a somewhat more rustic part and a somewhat more noble with red benches. the whole, quite large restaurant has a window front to spree and a terrace to spree. in summer you can sit outside and experience endless sunsets over the spree. the device is not very complicated, but funny, beautiful ddr – glass windows for example. eating is of very high quality and also not quite cheap. that is in a certain contradiction to the hippie – wood market, but seems to be concept. At any rate you get a decent piece of meat and tasty good things on the teller and good wine. the service is funny, scenic, very striving and makes good mood.

Have had dinner there, eating was very good (small portions) high quality and especially - we had eaten and reh as well as steak as main dish very well. Unfortunately, the service was so slow that we have already considered whether we should order the bill immediately after the appetizer (from arrival in restaurant 19:30 until appetizer 20:30). some drinks from the card there was not (both cidre), even the beverage order has worked only after repeated queries. but the situation is something very special and worth a visit. the service needs to be improved.
