Marx - Berlin

We were in the area and were looking for a place to eat. Marx got good reviews, so we went there. They get the three stars for the food, which is good. But the service wasn't, and the staff barely spoke to us. Besides us there was only one other couple for lunch, so it wasn't very crowded. Still it took way to long for our food and drinks to arrive. The place has an alternative vibe. Won't say I regret eating here (again: the food was good), but wouldn't come back either.

Just picked up some bagels for a fast breakfast. The bagels were very dry and must have been a couple of days old. The coffee was acceptable but not great. Looked like a nice place with nice service though. The experience might be totally different when you sit down and take something from the "Fruhstuck" menu.

We ordered two not too complicated plates of breakfast. First we waited 15 minutes til they took our order and took away the last guests dishes that was still on our table. Then we waited more than ONE HOUR to get the food. Nothing wrong with the food, but this was the slowest service I have ever received in the whole world. Don't go there.

It was a really nice and fresh breakfast. Nice people working there. The price is very fair. Many breakfast options. Breakfast until 17h

Enjoyed breakfast today nice restaurant friendly staff, good service, good vibe, though I think they struggle with numbers as we had to wait a while. So if you're in a hurry and there's a group in front of you, maybe not, but it is worth the wait. We had the muesli, bagel, croissant, pancakes, and English breakfast and all went away happy.
