It is a very untraveled and very quiet place, next to one of the main roads of the city and all the urban hustle, it surprises such a quiet corner. The brewer found it almost by chance walking through the streets of the square and seeing the church outside, I noticed the terrace and people eating, so we decided to try and ask if there was room for 2. They told us yes, and after seeing the menu with their different options between sauerkraut, currywrust, salads... we decided to order a typical dish of codillo with their cooked potatoes, sauerkraut and a little salad, with a good Berlin beer. We're ideal to keep kicking the city later. Speaking with the waiters, and making friends, they explained to us that it was the oldest brewer in the city, with the 500-year-old. Or they said. What is clear is that it is different from the majority of breweries that are seen in the city and that they remember more tourist attractions full of visitors and foreigners. Less busy, perhaps less touristy, and of course, closer. The deal with the staff was 10 of course. Conclusion: If you want to pay a culinary homage before you get fired from the city, and you like good home, local and quality food, this small house that hides between the hustle of the city is your place.
One of the oldest houses in Berlin (although reconstructed, like much of the city), Zum Nussbaum offers typical Berliner cuisine. Copious and hearty! We had dinner at a sidewalk table, on a lovely place quite typical of Germany (a church, a fountain, a lime-tree), not overwhelmingly touristy ; good food, good beer, good prices.
Servizio celere e cucina tedesca, senza grossi fronzoli ne sorprese.Ottimo rapporto Qualità/Prezzo
