Persimmon - Besthesda

This is becoming one of my favorite restaurants. Their $45 Sunset Dining option is a no brainer. I've found their soup of the day to be especially tasty each time I've gone. An especially great location if you're going to Bethesda Roundhouse Theater after dinner.

A friend and I had a very pleasant lunch at Persimmon. We shared an order of the empanada of the day, which was delicious. I had the mussels and my friend had the chicken sandwich, both were very good with very good, crispy fries. The service was very nice.

The restaurant didn't have AC broke down a couple of days ago) on 85 degree days. We snatched an outside table and got yelled by the waiting staff because we were intended for indoor steam seats. No thanks. Food was not fresh, oyster is tasteless and tuna must have been there for a while. What an awful place

I enjoyed my dinner here. The waiter was especially kind and funny, and the place filled up quickly, My reservation was at 5:30 PM; which was perfect timing to get a seat near the window and to order before the place got too busy. I ordered a salad and the ravioli appetizer; which were delicious.

Outstanding food that is very reasonably priced for the quality. It continues to be a Bethesda “go to” even with the change in ownership the staff acquired it and it is better than ever in terms of service! The quality and variety of daily specials always assures a special evening!
