The Lake Cafe

This was our first time here and we will definitely be back! My spouse got the brunch buffet and he said it was all delicious, they had a nice assortment of biscuits and gravy, potatoes, meats, eggs, donuts, pancakes, he was very happy with it. I had thechicken and waffles and the chicken with the gravy was delicious. The waffles are nothing like I've ever had. They have littlebites of sugar in them and almost taste like cake. They don't even need syrups they are delicious just as they are. We spoke tothe owner who told us his family started the restaurant and he bought it. You'll see him putting in a ton of effort to help seatpeople and make sure they have everything they need. You must try this place, you won't be disappointed!!

The server was friendly and helpful. There are many choices. The food was well prepared.

Waaaay overpriced. Three of us had breakfast, and the bill was $68!! Never in my life have I paid so much for one meal. Four of us went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner, and the bill was less. The food was good but not outstanding, and I think the wait staff could have combined some things to lessen the bill. I just know I won't be going back, and I won't recommend anyone else go. Super sad because I was hoping this could be a new meeting place for our family.
