Newk's Eatery - Birmingham

This is our second visit to this restaurant, and once again, we found that we couldn't eat inside. There was a sign on the door indicating that it's takeout only. So, don't come here if you're hoping to dine in.

The food was unappetizing and overpriced for what you receive. It really lacked seasoning and made my son feel unwell right after eating. It's no surprise that the place was empty. The staff were friendly, but the food was below average. I won't be coming back.

I prefer this chain over the one in downtown Birmingham. I would have given it 5 stars, but during my last visit, my order was not completely correct.

I had the Tomato soup and a Turkey sandwich. It was good. But I really had my heart set on either Lobster Bisque or Crab. The place stopped serving it like a month ago. The prices for them were to high to buy it. The service was excellent and I amsatisfied with my dinner.

Besides the delivery fee, there is an added 15% fee to make sure the quality of the food delivered is good. The order was not delivered correctly, and when the store was called, the manager couldn?t refund the money but put the responsibility on theirthird party delivery. After 30 minutes of calling to talk to the delivery service, we were told it was Newk?s that had to makethe refund.
