Frank's At 622 North - Blacksburg

Fantastic dinner experience. Perfect cook on my filet, great presentation. My daughter's salmon was beautiful. Impeccably attentive but not overbearing wait staff. I'm not a wine guy so I found the bourbon selection a little tight, but that's fine. Roomy, quaint, GREAT food, and an outstanding environment to enjoy dinner and conversation.... Don't tell the management but I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the bill was. Would be 5 stars FOR SURE if there was the chance for some decadence at the bar. I can't wait to go back!

We dined at 622 last evening and enjoyed an outstanding experience. The fried green tomatoes appetizer was delicious. I ordered the pork chop while my husband had the pork belly; both dishes were exceptional! Our waiter, Alex, was truly remarkable and made our meal even better. We do have a couple of suggestions, though: the tiramisu we tried wasn’t very good, and the carpet leading to the bathroom upstairs was quite smelly, dirty, and very worn out—it definitely needs to be replaced. Despite this, we will definitely return and hope to have Alex as our server again.

I went in with low expectations, especially since many restaurants have been struggling with staff shortages and quality lately, but I was pleasantly surprised! My server was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable. The food was outstanding! The Brussels sprouts were crispy yet tender, the duck was incredible, and my companion's tilapia was cooked to perfection. And if you haven't tried the bacon jam appetizer, you absolutely have to!

Would go here all the time just for their confit wings. They're absolutely delicious. Some entrees are better than others. Their salmon is perfect and they also make great cocktails. If you want a meal out that won't disappoint and will provide great service, this is the place.

Always enjoy our meals here when visiting, salads are great, and the salmon club is delicious. The **** Mary and **** Hogger are great too!
