Black Dog Village Pub Bistro

I visited the restaurant with my family today (June 3) for the first time in a while. Due to my numerous food allergies, I always have to ask a lot of important questions. I was initially interested in the Veggie Burger, but I wanted to know more about its ingredients first. I also inquired about the Pad Thai, mentioning my cashew allergy and gluten-free diet. Our server, Kristine, went above and beyond to address all my concerns with a friendly attitude and great patience. She ensured that the kitchen was informed of my allergies and verified that the pad Thai sauce was safe for me. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would gladly give 10 or more. I was quite disappointed with the Thai vegetable pad; it was overly sweet and had a strong vinegar taste. It seemed like the chef didn't know how to prepare it properly. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4.

I had a Ribeye Steak sandwich with fries for lunch, and both the sandwich and the fries were the best I've ever had. The food was incredible, and the service was exceptional. I can't wait to come back to Bayfield next time!

Delicious and fresh food with an elevated pub menu. Good choice and very good execution. This was offset set by higher than average prices and a bit steep for portion size. Service was slow and disorganized, had to wait over an hour for a burger and fish and chips 1 filet). If you have time to bask and take in the atmosphere of Bayfield Main Street and don’t mind a very leisurely pace it’s a nice place.

Very over priced for what you get, but the soup of the day was amazing.
