It wasn't a minute that passes before the waitress was her to take my order or get a menu. The restaurant has both table and booth setting. I sat in a booth looking over the main portion of the dinning area.I ordered at 9:08 am the hotel breakfast. I had my coffee about 2 minutes after sitting. The coffee was very but dark . It ok nothing I would stop in for their coffee. The waitress brought me out a little basket of jams, I think it for theme for Easter. You would need to route through the basket to find what jam you wanted .my breakfast took 10 minutes to get to my table which is great. The egg tasted fresh hence the small diameter. The bacon was cook just right when you bit into the bacon it did not crumble like glass . The hash browns were home made . The entire meal was hot which is indication the meal was made to order and not done in advance. The toast was alittle burnt, but not to point when you folded the toast it would brake at fold. The entire breakfast with coffee and coffee top up came to a total of $7.48 tax in. Very reasonable, with a lot of value in this meal. Out of 10 I give this breakfast and experience an 8. The waitresses were all excellent, and efficient. They provided a service with a smile!
First I have to say it's a bit outdated but comfortable seating . We quite often drop in for supper on Friday nights . I will say the food has always been good .My favorite being the Chicken Stir fry The prices are very good .Next time in Town give them a try ,I'm sure you'll be satisfied . :-)
First of all the dining room is a bit outdated as other people have said, but who cares. It's the food that counts. I had the Pan Fried Haddock with Mashed potato and vegetables for $10.98. The fish was excellent and very large portion. Mashed potato was very good and vegetables were also good. My wife had the stir fry which she liked very much and apiece of Coconut cream pie for dessert that she thought was excellent. Prices are excellent for the large portions you get. First time here, but will not be our last!
The food here is good enough, not exceptional, but acceptable, the dining room is dark and outdated, the staff friendly and efficient. A nice enough place to go and the prices are reasonable.
Nice quiet place to enjoy conversations with friends & family. The pan fried haddock was excellent and the poutine was delicious!
