This is an excellent village pub. The interior has been beautifully renovated, while the exterior maintains its delightful charm. Brightwaters Village has experienced some gentrification, similar to Henley. Nevertheless, it's still a wonderful place to visit.

I had a great experience at this restaurant during my first visit. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a friendly vibe. Scot made a memorable impression by noticing me as a newcomer right away, greeting me warmly, and promptly attending to my drink and service needs. The bar menu, while simple, offered some tasty classics like chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks. I also enjoyed watching some lively darts tournaments, which featured authentic cork dartboards. Overall, it was a pleasant visit!

It was freezing outside, and the temperature inside was just as uncomfortable. The daytime bartender was fantastic, but the nighttime bartender seemed unwilling to adjust the heat on the season's first chilly night. I'm not looking forward to going back for darts again. However, I must say the daytime bartender was excellent! I recommend visiting before 7 PM.
