Beans on the Green - Brisbane

Beans on the Green has been popular with the locals for some time now, located in the back streets of Bardon in the old gardener's shed at the Bardon Bowliing Club. On Saturday mornings the cafe does a roaring trade with locals and passing visitors to the near by sporting grounds.I am not a fan of the brand of coffee that the cafe serves, too bitter for my likes, so I do not partake any more, but I am happy to return with my friends as the brand does not bother them. The cafe is relaxing but can get very hot during the summer months.

The title says it all. A bowling green tool shed that's been converted to a little coffee shop. Yummy sandwiches and the coffee is pretty spot on. Do try ✌

What an awesome little cafe! The staff are always so friendly and nice, the coffee is always amazing and I couldn't recommend it more highly! Do yourself a favour and check it out!

We have eaten here regularly on visits to Brisbane. The site is an old bowling club and seating is largely outside. Ideal for children to run around, great place for people to meet and greet. Food is elegant rustic. Very flavoursome. Staff are lovely and helpful and friendly. Adequate parking.

A perfect example of build it and they will come - an old shed at a bowling club that is busier than the clubhouse- because it's what people want somewhere to meet for a coffee and the children can play - lots of parking- and the coffee and service is good as well
