I had to write another review because this place never disappoints. The team, including Ricky and Melanie, are top notch. They are welcoming and incredibly helpful. The tuna crudo with apples and chili are a must have, and my go to roll is the yellow tail basil. Food never disappoints. Please visit this spot! I have been to this spot over 10 times now and it truly never disappoints. It’s become my go to sushi spot. The staff is great and friendly. I highly suggest trying the chefs tasting menu if it’s your first time. Our go to is the Yellow Tail Basil roll and the sushi and sashimi deluxe. Their mochi is great too, if they have espresso or chocolate chip try it! The aesthetic is beautiful, Modern, and clean. The food is fresh, delicious and consistent.

Oita has great sushi and a very relaxing atmosphere

The Signature Roll Set 5 (20 pieces) was incredibly delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well the Agedashi tofu held up during delivery!

This was one of the best spontaneous lunch choices I've ever made. The restaurant is inviting, spotless, and elegantly minimalist. The service is outstanding—very attentive and friendly. We opted for their omakase, and it was simply perfect. Food: 5/5.

Oita is the premier destination for Japanese cuisine in Park Slope. It checks all the boxes: fresh ingredients, a minimalist decor, and exceptional service. Additionally, the prices are quite reasonable.
