Kanda Sushi - Brossard

Kanda is my favourite sushi place and I was thrilled to go back after the lockdown but things have certainly changed. The quality of food has gone down insanely. The tempura shrimp was thick and breaded instead of light and crunchy (salt n pepper shrimp tougher than normal too), the avocados weren’t ripe, the Udon noodles were tasteless.... It felt like we were at a sushi Macdonalds to be totally honest, i don’t know what on earth changed but I’m scared to go back and be disappointed once again...

Sushi was delicious, but the wait was really long and there wasn't anybody inside.

The sushis were well-prepared. The presentation was elegant. The rice was firm but not too dry or hard. The fish was generally soft and the texture was not mushy. It was what was expected from an all-you-can eat sushi establishment. The amount of soy sauce, spicy mayonnaise, pickled ginger and wasabi given were generous. The only negative aspect was the waiting period of one hour. I guess it would be suggested to order ahead of time by phone then come to pick up instead of ordering in person.

This place is a sushi heaven! I always go to this place with my family for sushi! I truly love their sushis because of the wide range of choices they offer. Not only do they serve Japanese food like sushis, sashimis, hand rolls, but also they serve other Asian food like hot and sour soup (my absolute favourite , dim sum (shrimps, steamed dumplings... , Korean food like ramen and udon noodles. For dessert, they have delicious mango jellies and different flavours of ice cream. As for the service, it's always fast! Their location is very easy to find and they have parking. I really recommend this place! It's a great place to bring your family or friends.

If you love all you can eat sushi, Kanda has a huge selection of sashimis, makis, nigiris, dim sums, dumplings, hot sour soups, hot dishes, ramens, chow Mein noodles, Korean food, and many more!! The indoor decor has a cool design, they have a giant tree inside the restaurant (I don't usually see this kind of decor but made me feel like I'm enjoying sushi in a jungle) The service is faster compared to other sushi places You won't be disappointed for sure!!
