Downtown Elixir Spirits Company - Bryan

We enjoyed a rare date night and were impressed by both the food and, especially, the drinks. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. The decor and large windows create a fantastic atmosphere. The food options are inspired by Cajun cuisine, featuring a limited yet outstanding range of flavors. The drinks are truly on another level, offering an impressive selection of classic cocktails alongside many creative originals, all beautifully presented and delicious.

The menu is somewhat limited and quite heavy. I really enjoyed the seafood étouffée; it was creamy and rich. Our server was fantastic and recommended some drinks that we liked a lot.

The drinks and service were excellent, but the constant blinking lights were distracting and ruined the overall atmosphere.

Went in for coffee and dessert. Unfortunately, both times we've come in for coffee, it's been warm, like it's been sitting in a pot all day. It shouldn't have been served. We'd rather wait for fresh, hot coffee than drink old coffee. The servers should know that. While the banana flambe had good texture and flavor, the chocolate mouse cake tasted like it had just come out of the fridge. It was a good cake, just had an off-putting flavor. Ultimately, we left earlier than we might have due to a customer at the bar. He was being incredibly loud and crass. I get it. It's a bar, but it didn't add to the atmosphere. It drove away business.
