Steak tacos look and taste like ground beef. Worst tacos I’ve ever had. Proves are outrageous. 10$ bean burrito. Lady at register was cranky, I still tipped good. Wasn’t first time there, wanted to give another try. And yea no wont ever be going
According to Google Maps, it states that this is a food truck and they were open until 7:00 PM, today is Sunday. When you pull up, it isn't a food truck anymore. It's a small restaurant more than likely family owned and operated. The atmosphere of the place was gritty, to say the least. You could tell not a lot of money was spent on the seating area.My fiance and I ordered 4 Carne Asada tacos, Mexican Style (Cilantro, raw chopped onion, and a quarter of a lime) and a burrito. The tacos were $2.50 a piece and came with a small Guacamole and a Red Hot Sauce container on the side. The tacos were street-size tacos so beware they're very small. The tacos were packed with Carne Asada and had th3 perfect amounts of cilantro, chopped onion, and lime. I tried the red hot sauce and gave it to my fiance, it was too Caliente for me! The tacos were amazing but they were very salty for my taste. The Burrito was a Carne Asada burrito with Refried Beans, Rice, and Cheese; served with a side of rice and beans. The burrito was enormous and once again was amazing! All the flavors of the Carne Asada, the rice, the beans, and the cheese, meshed so well together.I wish I would have taken pictures but we were hungry by the time we got home that we devoured it!!!The only downsides are:1. If you're on a low-sodium diet, or you don't eat a lot of salt, you will taste the salt and I didn't care for that.2. The restaurant itself needs to be updated to a more comfortable laid back atmosphere.3. They do not sell chips and salsa nor provide them if you choose to eat there.4. You cannot order a side of rice and beans even though the burritos have rice and beans inside of them.5. You cannot order queso nor is it a sauce topping choice.Overall, I gave it 3 stars due to the amount of salt in their food, the unwelcoming atmosphere, the service was so-so, the price of the street-size tacos was overpriced, the fact they only have 1 hot sauce option, they do not have a children's menu any longer as it was crossed off and they don't serve chips salsa or offer Queso. This is not authentic Mexican food like we are used to, it's more of a Tex-Mex in my opinion. We are originally from Arizona where they have true authentic Mexican food and their street-size tacos off a taco truck are 2 for $1.00 or 4 for $6.50 in a restaurant, with twice the amount of meat and it's served with a massive helping of rice and beans.I would recommend this place to others who love Carne Asada because it was amazing even though it was over-salted.Vegetarian options: You can order any item without the meat and dairy such as cheese and sour cream.Kid-friendliness: I would not bring young children here based on the unwelcoming atmosphere and the fact that they took away the children's menu.Parking: A limited number of spots in front of the restaurant. There is a larger parking lot across the driveway in the same lot, you just have to walk farther.Wheelchair accessibility: There was a wheelchair ramp but I didn't see any wheelchair signs for designated handicap parking except in the bigger lot.Dietary restrictions: If you're restricted to a low-sodium diet for Cardiovascular or other health issues, this is not the place for you. I do not eat a lot of salt and my fiance does, so when he says it's salty, then it has an extreme amount of salt in it.
Was driving by here this afternoon and just had to stop. Ordered the Pork burrito. Got the regular one with a soda. Prices are always real good and service is outstanding. Been here a few times but I am so satisfied each time I keep on coming back. The pork was so tender and flavorful. It isn't stuffed with that sour cream and other stuff that the chains put in theirs. This place does a burrito, the right way a lot of meat, a little bit of beans, some cilantro, onions, and a small amount of rice. And they do give you two different kinds of sauces on the side, homemade and delicious. What can I say? If you're not stopping here, you're missing a treat. Absolutely no frills as far as where you can sit to eat. This place is all about the food.
While I find the prices a bit high, the flavors and portion sizes are excellent. I would recommend anything from the menu; you really can't make a bad choice.
