Had shrimp and grit, along with Scallops for my wife’s birthday. Great food on par or better than Hells Kitchen. Brian was also a great server with a good attitude. My wife and I were anxious to try this place so we made reservations for our anniversary. The moment we were seated I asked the waiter to please clean our table as it had something on it. He informed me that he just wiped it down. I pointed out several oil spots which he ignored. I ended up cleaning it myself with germ gel. When it came time to order the steak I wanted was on a limited menu; however, the waiter assured me that I could order it only to find out I couldn't. They push alcohol very hard. I have no idea if the drinks are good or not. I will say the food is marginal at best. I ordered scallops, which I love, I did not finish them. The highlight of my meal was rice. I suspect everything tastes better if you drink enough alcohol. I certainly will not go back nor recommended it. The service was abysmal followed by lackluster food.

My fiancé and I dined at American Revelry, and it was one of the best experiences I've had during my time in Texas. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly. However, the highlight of the evening was definitely the food—Chef Denise Shavandy is truly exceptional! The seared tuna with wasabi aioli and fried rice was cooked to perfection, and the buttermilk pie was so delicious it brought tears to my eyes. If you're ever in the Burleson area of Texas, you absolutely need to add American Revelry to your itinerary. You won't be disappointed!
