Tavern in the Square - Burlington

Our server Nicole was outstanding! Friendly. Responsive, and knowledgeable about the menu. It was extremely noisy. We sat way in the back away from the jam packed bar area and it was still very hard to talk,

We were greeted immediately and ask our preference for seating. We requested a booth and they sat us in a nice comfortable booth without hesitation. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. We informed her that we would like to pace the evening as we were early for concert plans we had for later in the evening. She informed us that she was there all night and take all the time we need . A very thoughtful response . Some places frown upon pacing the meal and we did not experience that at all. The entire experience was fantastic.

Varied menu with reasonable prices. We were seated in an outdoor covered area so it wasn't so noisy, although it was a bit warm. Waitress was extremely attentive and pleasant.

A bit overpriced for the value. Service is decent but understandable because it's crowded a lot of the time.
