Bagel Dock Cafe - Calabash

We’ve decided that this restaurant is a “must-visit” for breakfast during our future beach vacations. There were plenty of delicious options on the menu, and our large group sampled a variety of them. The coffee was excellent; I enjoyed the medium roast Colombian with half and half. They also had a range of creamers and syrup options to choose from. All ten of us give it a huge thumbs up. A special shoutout from the little ones for the rainbow cookies!

I absolutely love Bagel Dock! However, I was taken aback when I arrived and found all the tables were dirty. I politely asked the employee at the register if they had anything to clean the tables with, and she handed me a rag to do it myself. I cleaned off the table without saying anything and returned the rag to her, and she thanked me. The entire time I was there, no one came out to clean any tables, which surprised me given that the restaurant was not busy—only a few other tables were occupied. Aside from that, everything else was great!

The fries were excessively salty, and the beef was dry, overcooked, and also too salty. We've dined here many times, and this was the only occasion where the food was so subpar.

The bagels are awesome! Real fried eggs on the breakfast sandwiches were the cherry on top for me. Plenty of options along with something for your sweet tooth as well. Daily breakfast specials if you order before 9am. The staff are pleasant, helpful, and bring a level of energy you don’t see everyday. Definitely will be returning before we leave.

This place is always packed and deservingly so! Fast service, great food, and akways consistent.
