Veg-In YYC - Calgary

This unassuming eatery was a nice surprise after a long day of international travel. My partner and I were looking for a healing meal and found this welcoming restaurant with great service fresh ingredients. Also owned by a family, mother/son. They were so nice.It's a mix of vegan and Indian with curries chutneys served with the dishes. We ordered the Jack in Bollywood which had a hearty portion with kale slaw/salad on the side. The samosas were some of the best I've ever had and the presentation with sauces was beautiful. If you are looking for casual but fresh served with care, don't pass this up.

Just loved the place ...This place is a pure vegan place owned and run by mother and son..Don't go by names everything is vegan ...They both are very very friendly and foods also tastes so good ....We even tried Samson and that was really good ... This place is highly recommended...

The food was one of the most delicious vegetarian dishes I ever ate. It was also so filling that I had to take the rest home. The owner was so nice and friendly and I really enjoyed it there.

I happened to stumble across this place when visiting from Edmonton and so happy I did. We were initially greeted by Sehra, she is so bubbly and friendly, It felt like meeting an old friend. The hospitality was top notch. Beside the welcoming atmosphere, the food was incredible. I had the enchilada and the flavour and portion size was awesome for the price. I'm sad I don't actually live in Calgary so I can eat here more often. Definitely deserves more than 5 stars. Thank you for the kind and warm welcome ?

We were here on Canada Day and, despite being very busy, received excellent and super-friendly service. We were given lots of information about the menu and attentive service throughout our visit. The food was excellent with a great combination of flavours and textures. My son, not vegetarian, commented that the classic burger was as good as or better than any meat patty. The rest of us enjoyed the diverse and Indian-inspired flavours of East Meets West, Millionaire, and the Samosa Enchiladas. All were thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend Veg-In for the great service and excellent vegan dishes. Look forward to going here again sometime.
