I had a mojito that was delicious and the servers couldn't have been... more friendly. Certainly, the food was a little slow, but they were on our drinks service and we had a good time. We stayed the next morning for coffee (after dinner there in the night before), which was excellent. They were very nice and accommodating. Great location.
Do not bury the tip: The menu says that the tip is not included. The waiter told me the same after I cleared the table (including the bill I didn't need). I wanted to leave a cash tip for our group, but asked to confirm the bill. 10% service was included as it was custom in all Colombia. When I asked, the waiter confirmed that this was the tip that contradicts the contradiction to what he had told me earlier. Food was average, location was great, but I hate to deal with these types of tourist traps that lie directly to gringos. Never go back.
We ordered a lasagna and a panini. The salami in the panini was very unsightly, but the lasagna was even bad. It was a frozen lasagna (both you can buy at the supermarket, and I know they served it frozen. I had to send it back once, and I didn't do it twice, because I was ashamed to do it again, because how waiters were acting. They made the mistake of serving us a hampanini instead of salami, the worst part was the struggle of the waitress and the cook had about it. In general, the service was terrible, the way they feel us, the attention to us despite the restaurant was almost empty, the many mistakes they did (not only with the panini, also with drinks, etc.). I don't recommend going there.
We had the daily lunch menu which was okay: fish with a small salad and a juice. Fairly priced as well. Unfortunately the service was really poor. Luckily you don't come across a waitress thát uninterested often. She really didn't seam to care about anything, especially not her customers. There are a lot of street vendors on this square so if you sit on the terrace (which is on the square), expect one at your table about every 5 minutes. A simple "no gracias" is usually sufficient for them to leave you be.
We just wanted some beers. We thought the outdoor table would be nice but little did we know the ridiculous event that was about to happen. "What beers do you have?","only x,y and z", "OK, we would like two x", "no, we don't have x", "mmm, OK then dive us a y", "no, actually we don't have beers at all".We just stood up and went elsewhere.
