McDonald's - Canberra

The dinner I had at this restaurant was extremely bad, I disliked every bite. The self-service machines did not give me a ticket. It took 40 minutes to get to my number and then they didn't even call it. They started calling my number, so I had to go to the counter and inform them that they did not call my number. I had to repeat my order, which was a McChicken meal with Sprite, but I got a Coke instead. Every bite of my burger was dry and cold.

Every table was dirty, the floor was covered in debris, and the women's restroom was filthy. Not a good experience at all.

My partner and I have been frequenting the McDonald's in Majura Park, Canberra, every morning for coffee and breakfast on the way to work. A few weeks ago, I even asked to speak to the manager at the drive-thru window. I wanted to let him know how much we enjoyed getting our coffee there and to thank him for the kindness and friendliness of the staff. However, after today, everything changed. When we went to order our usual coffee and breakfast bag, we were served by someone who was not as friendly as the rest of the staff. I was taken aback by their attitude and lack of friendliness. I asked for the total, and when I said a simple "thank you would be nice," the staff member looked at me with a rude expression. As we drove away, I heard a sarcastic "thank you" from her. I decided to call and complain, but was informed that she was the daughter of the owner, explaining her behavior. It was disappointing to see such poor customer service, not only from her but also from the manager who handled our complaint. They refunded our money and said they would not welcome us back. This incident was a stark contrast to the wonderful experiences we had with previous employees at this McDonald's. If I owned a McDonald's store and my daughter or manager behaved in such a manner, they would be fired. It's a shame to see such a decline in customer service at this location.

This mccafe has decided to dispose of their porcellaean caps and add more waste to the waste stream. no recycling, either it appeared. very disappointing and I think that it no longer makes a mccafe, but only another takeaway coffee spot. I will not come back.
