Marianne's Polar Bear - Capitola

The variety of flavors available is impressive. We sampled the pumpkin, chocolate peanut butter, and strawberry, and we enjoyed each one of them. This is definitely a place you should visit while in Capitola.

Delicious ice cream! We received excellent service during our visit and were encouraged to try some samples, which we happily did. The ice cream was rich and delightful.

Rich, creamy, flavorful, local ice cream. Love it! Burgundy cherry is my personal favorite, and always has me going back for more. Worth a try for sure!

I've sampled the strawberry, dirty paws (caramel with Oreos), and macapuno (coconut) ice cream flavors. It's over $5 for a single scoop, so even though they give you a generous amount, it's a bit pricey. However, the ice cream tastes great and is a good occasional treat.

I look forward to coming to this ice cream place every year. Unfortunately the lack of management has led me to some major disappointment this year. There was a hair in our shake and the teenage boys were blaring very explicit music. They did remake our shake but they kept the music on and said that sometimes the playlist gets a little crazy . Not appropriate for a respectable business that little children frequent.
