Mi's Waterfront Bistro - CAPTAIN COOK

This restaurant in Kailua Kona was possibly the worst dinner I have ever had. The so-called "Chef" Morgan Starr was not a star at all. Our experience was consistently poor from start to finish. When we tried to order an appetizer before deciding on our main dishes, our server told us that we had to order everything at once because the chef only allowed one ticket per table. As a chef myself, I found this rule to be ridiculous. Our dinner arrived and the food was bland and overcooked. My spaghetti bolognese was so overcooked that I had to send it back, and the beef was burnt to a crisp. To make matters worse, when I sent it back, our server did not offer me a replacement dish from the menu. I ended up sitting there with no dinner while my family ate. Fortunately, they did not enjoy their meals either, so I did not have to wait long. The staff was friendly, but overall, I would not recommend dining at Mi's in Kailua Kona. There are plenty of good restaurants in town, so keep looking for a better dining experience.

Perhaps the worst dinner I've ever had in kailua kona. “Chef” morgan is by no means a “star”. the dinge remained bad and ended badly. our server approached us in time and asked for our drink order that we made available. I have indicated that we would like to order an appetizer while we chose our net. our server said: “You have to order everything at once. the cook will only allow a ticket per table.” as a cook I found that ridiculous! he went on to explain that they only have a six burner cooktop and it would overwhelm the kitchen when the people ordered at different times. the evening meal arrived. eating was unimaginable and overcooked. my spaghetti blog was so reconsidered that I sent it back. the bark was cremated. the worst part when I sent him back, our server did not offer me a menu to select a replacement. So I sat there without dinner, as my family ate. admitted, they didn't finish their main thing because it was so bad, so I didn't have to wait long. the personal is very friendly. in the whole city there are good restaurants. mi is not one of them.

Arthur was really one of the best servers we had ever had to interact with and that was amazing. Many thanks for making our jubilee dinner exceptional!
