Le Papagayo Carlsbad

Our server, Evette, was wonderfully attentive and friendly. The food is always delicious!

The cocktails were good, but pricey. I tried the Old Fashioned, which included a coffee liqueur that somewhat overshadowed the other excellent ingredients. For my main course, I had the paella, which was packed with delicious seafood and Spanish sausage. My only criticism is that it was more of a risotto than a traditional paella, but it was still very tasty. I’ll also give the mussels a try next time; they looked tall and plump.

We had a great time there! The service was excellent and the food was tasty. The parking situation was a bit of a hassle, but the noise didn't really bother us. The atmosphere was lively and it’s a fun spot to gather with friends. We’ll definitely return!

Large ambiente with good eating and excellent service

Our server was nice but spread way too thin. Fig and prosciutto flatbread was overly sweet.
