Asked what the recommended for fresh seafood and everything was amazing. the food and service could not have been better.

Eating was amazing. we had two big fish for six and it was very tasteful and juicy. the personal rather gentle and the restaurant was recently renovated with a modern note, but without to praise the old taste

What a lovely family run restaurant. Tobias himself was waiting our table and suggested some great dishes, to the fussy kids who don't eat sea food to the seniors, who love it. The dishes are freshly prepared and the portions very generous. Mariscada is the speciality, sea food rice and it was spot on. Don't expect pretty presentation or decor here, it is as home cooking as you get, set in a rustic traditional Portuguese house. The prices are fair and we also loved the home made desserts. Definitely worth a visit.

I had heard so much about this restaurant before visiting it. To be honest I did not had a close look at the menu since we were there for the famous sea food rice.....that did not disappoint. The restaurant is quite small so the trick is to arrive early. Also, if you are into fine dinning this is not the place to go, however if you like good food and sea food this is the place to go. Considering the amount of food you get it has a good price/quality/quantity relation.

On the way to Praia do Carvalhal. A neighborhood restaurant with a friendly staff, great fresh seafood, with great value. Can't wait to return. Great little gem!
