Applebee's - Charles Town

I placed my order just before 11 PM, as it was getting late. The portions I received were significantly larger than those at Logan’s in Martinsburg. I was welcomed within 30 seconds of walking in the door, even though there were signs indicating the staff was short. The sauce was fresh and just right, and the breadsticks were cooked to perfection.

The food was good, although the broccoli in my dish wasn't cooked properly—that was my oversight for not reading the menu carefully. The only downside was that I felt a bit rushed while dining. The margaritas were decent, but they had more mix than tequila; however, at $3.99, they were still quite reasonable.

We visited after a show at Hollywood Casino, and the woman who assisted us was incredibly friendly. It seemed she might have been covering for a server due to the late hour, as she was managing the bar as well. Despite that, she was very attentive and genuinely kind. She checked on us multiple times and provided us with soda and water in to-go cups since she knew we were heading home. I highly recommend this place for its excellent service. Service was great, food was good, we wish more attention to serving sizes. The ribs my friend got were tiny, my 1 year old grandchild would have eaten this no problem.

I usually do car side to go which I’ve never had a problem with. Today I went inside to pick up because I needed to also get a gift card. It was very busy inside and all the employees were friendly that I interacted with. Most restaurants are short staffed and people need to just try to have a little more patience .
