Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - Charlotte

Tried to go eat here yesterday and sat in the waiting room with about 20 other people who were just ignored by all of the employees who walked by us. Finally someone comes up and then tells us because you were here first. We want to seat you but because they have a party of about 10, you will have to wait like 15-30 minutes. Why would they be seated first without a reservation, if we were here first and the host stated it? We ended up leaving.

My family of 7 arrived at 12:30 PM on a saturday. They open at 11. We were seated after about 5 minutes. Waitress took our drink and appetizer order. She brought chips and queso and croissants with honey butter. She only had 3 plates because there were no more clean ones so she gave us extra napkins. We placed our order. After 45 minutes (they were NOT that busy) our food arrived. My chicken tenders had an awful after taste and she forgot my fries. I was not trying to wait another 45 minutes so I told her forget it. My sister ordered a steak medium. It was burned and dry. My mom and son wanted bourbon glaze on their salmon. They had none. The waitress NEVER checked on our table. Took our order, brought our food, brought the check. That 's it! We will NEVER darken their doorstep again. While this was one of the worst dining experiences I 've ever had, my brothers ribs were good as well as my grandsons cheeseburger and daughters pasta. For THAT reason I gave them TWO stars!!

Host, so disrespectful when I requested a booth, literally the place was empty. The presentation of my meal was absolutely jaw dropping, but as I began to eat, this chewy “thing” wouldn’t dissolve in my mouth and killed my whole experience ?.

Slowest service ever. Do not go if you want to get in and out in less than a couple hours. It was a 40 min wait at the door, and another HOUR after getting to the table to be approached by an employee, after telling them we were still waiting. After two hours, we finally get our drinks and they were wrong. Save yourself the hassle and go to one of the places next door.

I used to come to cheddars in tn raised with family members for special occasions wanted to come today before I came out of the city for the funeral of one of these beloved family members. he waited for the host to come from one. another man ordered to go in the bar, waited 45 minutes for our orders were the only 2 persons in the entire side of the restaurant. my order was an salat cup fried garnel? at 11:10 get at 11:50 with a completely dead restaurant. To make the best of the wait, I asked to order a margarita while I waited, was said? No bartenders are planned today until 2pm? so this location does not even have a complete staff available. that was my first time back in more than a year bc this place is in the regular so long waits for no reason, phone only rings, this arta thing. no one even works in the bar area or behind the bar. felt like an unwanted annoying, not being back. photo the 6 cloves for $9 with a brew of buffalo sauce.
