Rick Erwin's Clemson

We have eaten at this restaurant each year that we visit for home football games. Last evening was very busy and Eric kept us aware of our reservation timetable and set us up in a very comfortable round booth. Jay was our waiter and he was outstanding! Best night that we have experienced in 3 years ! These two gentlemen are the best in the business. Rick Erwin’s is our favorite restaurant in Clemson. We had an amazing meal tonight and Jay was an amazing server! Highly recommend, we will definitely be back! The most rude patrons and staff. Came in at 730 and was told to wait by the entry way for a bar seat . Stood there for thirty minutes while people just kept coming in and standing directly behind people eating at the bar. First seats came available and people walked right in and sat down. This is unacceptable service. Do not have your staff tell us to wait twice and then allow others to sit down before us at the bar. The bar area needs to be attended to by host for people waiting in line and to keep people from hovering while people are eating. DO BETTER! Will never return to Rick Erwin’s Patrick Square! Excellent bartenders. Great wait staff and the manager was amazing as he fixed an issue that was our mistake. Food is always great. The wet aged ribeye was very tasty Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
