I am a vegan dining with my non-vegan family. We eat at this restaurant once a week and we absolutely love it.

I was disappointed to discover that the bread at this restaurant contains milk, as a vegan. My partner and I frequently dine here and always order bread. One time, our waiter mentioned that the bread had milk in it, which prompted me to inquire with the owner. He brushed off my concerns, claiming that all bread needs milk to be soft, in small amounts. I argued that this still doesn't make it vegan, but he insisted it was. He even offered to show me his bake kitchen, but I felt it was unnecessary. In my opinion, if a product contains real milk, it cannot be considered vegan. It surprised me that there are still items with trace amounts of non-vegan ingredients that are labeled as vegan.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! Their lunch specials are fantastic and they clearly label their vegan options on the menu.
