Hanabi Sushi - Concord

Overall, it is not worth the price. The food is subpar. I ordered a lunch box with salmon and Chicken Katsu. The Salmon was dry and lacking flavor. The chicken Katsu was decent. The customer service was lacking. There was no greeting or recognition upon entering the restaurant. The woman taking orders seemed unfriendly and impatient. I will not be returning here and do not recommend it to anyone.

I live in Brentwood, but had a Sam's Club pick up order, so I decided to randomly choose a sushi spot to pick lunch up from on the way home. I am so glad I chose this spot!! I ordered three sushi rolls, the R B (8 pieces), Crunchy Spicy Tuna (6 pieces), and Red Lobster (8 pieces). The rolls themselves are big and generously filled (I barely made it through 10 pieces total; I'll have the rest for dinner!), and the avocado was the freshest I've had in or on sushi in a very long time. The seafood was fresh, and the rice was cooked perfectly (although they use a little more rice on their rolls than I prefer, but it does bulk up the rolls! I will definitely return to try some other special rolls the next time I'm in the area!

The food at this restaurant is amazing and the staff is very friendly. I absolutely adore this place.

Randomly dropped into this hole in the wall for cold sake and a cucumber salad. Cool spot with skilled sushi chefs. Ended up ordering their nigiri lunch special. Just come and try it! Also, service was great. Funny, too. Asked if they have mugicha, the waiter replies, this is a korean sushi restaurant. Lol. 10-4. Had a good laugh with her about that.

Food is good, but the service is terrible. I asked to put the eggs on the side and the lady checking out the food was horrible and it just bothered her that I wanted the eggs on the side. Lost a regular customer. Taking my business some where else. Makes you feel very uncomfortable.
