This was my first visit since the renovations, and I really enjoyed the lovely interior and the friendly staff. However, it's unfortunate that they only have three cask ales available. Given the numerous excellent microbreweries nearby, it feels like a missed opportunity not to offer Old Peculiar. Service: 5 Location: 5

I had a wonderful experience at this bar, which featured a lovely room and fantastic views of Coniston Water. The staff members were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food served at the pub was enjoyable, and I was able to work on my laptop while watching the dogs around me. There are also great walking trails nearby. My cozy double room was very nice, although it could use a brighter overhead light. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 4, the service a 5, and the location a 5. Hotel highlights definitely include the stunning view.
