Margot’s - Cozumel

Had an awesomely baked, thin-crust pizza with the perfect amount of char to the crust. Some people don't realize that thin-crust pizza is supposed to have a small amount of char on the bottom of the crust, because it's supposed to be baked at about 850 degrees F for about 30 seconds. We had a lovely time tonight. Got two different types of pizza and shared them. THough, the sausasge one on the menu it says there's pecorino on it, but mine did not have any. If you're a two-top you'll be cozied up with other parties, so if you're looking for 6 ft apart maybe ask for an outdoor table or go when you have a larger party so you can grab a booth. Beautiful crusts. Fantastic natural wine list. Crispy, singed toppings, perfectly kissed by the inferno of their woods burning pizza oven. And sauce that's well balanced: tangy, sweet, savory, seasoned-all in balance. Plan to be here regularly, or at least get take away.

Oh my god, I love Margot’s so much. They’re the best thing that happened to this city in a while. Best pizza in New Orleans. Delicious cocktails, natural wine. Great service, cute owners. It’s just great all around. I love you Margot’s.

Nice diversity on the menu. I thought the fermented corn salad was a little sour by itself. When I paid it with the Leblanc pizza it came together perfectly. The pizza itself tasted like it had been bathed in butter and had great char like a Neapolitan pizza should. The Gibson has a nice accent with the Bay, but people should keep in mind that it is not a beginner's beverage. The bitter bee's knees was all around superb.
