The interior and exterior look fantastic, and the food is fantastic too! I tried one of their gourmet burgers called The Hangover, which comes loaded with a fried egg, bacon, sausage, ham, cheese, and a house-made hollandaise sauce. I have to say, it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. I ordered it medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly. I've dined at Bar 209 in Bemidji several times, and while I’m not claiming that one is better than the other, if I were blindfolded with both burgers in front of me, I don't think I could tell them apart.
Katie provided excellent service. The PBJ burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had! There were three of us, and we all loved it so much. It was a delightful combination of peanut butter, jelly, cheese, and bacon! Absolutely delicious!
The restaurant has been beautifully remodeled, offering great food with plenty of character. The smoked brisket sandwich is definitely worth a visit—it's without a doubt the best sandwich I've ever tasted.
We enjoyed an early and casual light dinner on a quiet Monday evening. The waitress was very friendly, and the service was fairly quick, considering it wasn't a busy night. The food was simple yet delicious. They offered a diverse menu, but we opted for lighter meals instead of a full dinner. The restaurant was quite cold when we arrived, but the spacious dining area was mostly empty at 6 PM. Overall, it was a pleasant sports bar-style venue.
The food was great, hot, fresh and tasty. The meat was tender and the service was friendly.
