Myrtille - Crows Nest

If you have not popped over to Crows Nest for this little gem, have you even lived??? Myrtille (mur tee, French word for blueberry) is a fantastic little restaurant about 40mins out of Toowoomba that boasts of locally sourced ingredients and it did not disappoint us! The food was fresh and presented beautifully. 5 star restaurant for such a quaint little town! Do yourself a favour and book a table! It’s 100% worth it. Vegetarian options: All the vegetarian options are in the starters and entree menu there were no vegetarian main options but you would be VERY happy with the choices they have for it. Dietary restrictions: They are happy to accommodate dietary but I’m unsure about gf and dairy free as we were asking about nuts at the time Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp into the door and they have outside seating too.

Such an unforgettable way to spend our 10th wedding anniversary! Relaxing Romantic vibe. The service was excellent, helpful and insightful, they generally love their customers and go above and beyond to give them the best dining experience.. they even celebrated our anniversary with a special sparkler in our dessert The food was of the highest quality, aromatic, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Highly recommend the souffle, snails, lamb, mahi mahi croquettes.. and the grasshopper cocktail! Thank you for being apart of our special night! We will definitely be back

My wife and I attended in a Sunday for a 3 course lunch service. We enjoyed a starter, entree and a main over 1.5 2 hours, accompanied by a couple glasses of wine. To begin, the food was simply delightful. Portion sizes were excellent and the flavours across all dishes were superb. One of the wait staff spoke highly of the cauliflower florets (entree) and we couldn’t agree more with his review. Perhaps the most tasteful selection of the day. The wait staff were exceptional and timed their interactions with us well; without unnecessarily checking in for our thoughts on the food. They were all exceptionally polite and well across the menu when we asked questions. The atmosphere was good high ceilings meant noise levels weren’t a problem. My thoughts for the owners would be to consider a some tweaking to the decor namely the tables and perhaps seating. This felt a little on the cheaper end and more ‘pub like’ than an upmarket dining experience; which is how I would describe the overall dining experience. We will most certainly be back.
