Amys On The Avenue - Crystal River

This little gem is a restaurant and gift shop specializing in homemade chocolates. We stopped in for breakfast as it was a beautiful morning and cool enough for outside seating. The garden patio is exquisite, such a quaint spot for an intimate date. The menu is limited but the service is amazing. Our waiter Xavier was such a nice and courteous young man, it made the atmosphere even more comforting. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and I enjoyed a fresh buttery croissant with a side of bacon and fruit cup. They have specialty coffees but we stuck with a good old cup of Joe. Everything was very nice. Definitely enjoy this place and will return.

I love Amy's. I live local and frequent this great place. The interior is so cozy and welcoming. The food is always wonderful and the desserts are to die for. My waitress was extremely sweet and went out of her way during each visit at the table. For some bizarre reason, the cashier in the gift store does not like me. I don't even know her, but when I try to be kind and cordial while checking out, she gives me attitude. I usually chalk it up that she's having a bad day, but this has been the third time in a row. The place is so great. It won't stop me from coming. I stay positive and friendly, no matter what.

Absolutely a gem! We wanted something light before going on our kayak excursion and it was super close to where we had to park for kayak tour. The staff was amazing and the food was so incredibly beautiful and delicious! It is decorated beautifully and it even has a little gift shop inside. This is definitely a great spot for something light and refreshing!

Repeat customers as this cute cafe is near my elderly mother 's Assisted Living and she likes it. We took her to breakfast for her birthday. The server was very friendly. However, the paper bill was $45 and went I went to the counter to pay, another woman said tjhe total was over $52. I asked about the difference and she said it was due to using my credit card. we try to warn people, she said, but actually nobody said a word nor was there a sign. Seven dollars? Really? Then she mumbled something and went down the list of the items we ordered and maybe the server made a mistake. Or...maybe this is how they gain more money at the counter. I didn 't make a big deal out of it since it was my mom 's birthday and I didn 't want to ruin any of the morning, but c 'mon, that 's just not honest and honestly, we will find a new place.

Very quaint, welcoming restaurant and boutique! Two of the three meals were delicious! Quiche was mediocre at best, crustless and not too flavorful. The boutique is eclectic and filled with wonderful home goods and gifts bakery was fabulous too!
