Zest Café Lounge - Darwen

I always love coming to this place because the staff always greet me warmly. This time, I had a £30 voucher to spend, so I ordered 3 breakfasts with coffee and a Peroni as usual.

We had left Dolly's Tea Rooms across the road as we were very disappointed in them (see review that I left! We only noticed Zest Café Lounge as we were driving away, and decided to call in. How lovely! Very attentive waitresses and good snack type menu choices. The table was cleaned as soon as we sat down although we were told it had been cleaned already. Didn't have to wait long for our drinks and food. Everything was very fresh, and really tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed eating at this friendly little cafe. Well definitely be back!

Just before Christmas myself and husband visited here and were extremely impressed. We had the special Christmas afternoon tea and it was wonderful. Plenty of variety. Soup, special Christmas sausage roll. Sandwiches and a hot panini. Cake and mince pie a little extra sweet and coffee. Plus a glass of Prosecco. All lovely.

Not only is the food 10/10 but the staff are amazing! Huge shout out to Lisa for her customer service skills never failing to make me and the office feel welcome

Called here today halfway though a mountain bike ride with a mate and sat outside. The service was very quick, the ladies serving were both super friendly and the full English was fantastic. All for a reasonable price too. Will definitely be calling again to dive back in to the delights of Darwen's Zest. Thanks!
