It was quite amazing. I tried the mexican omelette which included: eggs, sour cream, black beans, cheddar cheese, and sliced avocado. I added bacon because i am quite adventurous. I must admit i was a bit scared because they offered a lot of vegan dishes, but man the flavors were bold. The mimosa was just strong enough to excite me. The food was so delicious that i finished the entire plate.the star of the show were the home potatoes. They were sprinkled I rosemary and thyme. I encourage you to stop in get your healthy breakfast fix and then go to yoga next door.
Great pancakes and organic ingredients make this a great breakfast choice. Sunday is often a pretty busy day and getting a table can take a while. I like the flexible nature of the menu and options for sides. Fresh brewed ice tea and friendly staff make this one of my favorite Sunday morning stops.
My nieces both love to come to this place when they are in town. It has a very energetic and young vibe since is near UD. If your looking for an independent restaurant that serves breakfast near UD this place stands out magnificently among all of the chain restaurants. Every dish I have tried here has had a unique spin toot compared to the typical breakfast food. I like the fact that they have vegetarian and vegan options available as well. The Tropical French Toast was delicious. Fruit was fresh and the French toast was very light and cooked well. Yum!
The pace has buzz to it. Met a friend for breakfast and it was clearly a 'hot spot' to be. Service was quick and attentive, portions were decent, however the food did not wow. Wasn't bad, completely edible, but it wasn't a meal I would ever mention to anyone and I tend to talk about food and meals. I am the one taking pictures of those dishes that rock my world... not much of that happens around Dayton but there are some gems here in the gem city... if they could punch up the flavor of the food it would really help. I will go back, good value for the dollar, but they have not earned my "oh my god you must go" status. Add some zip and pizzazz to those dishes! I am GF and that does limit my menu options some. If someone has a wow dish that they believe will increase my rating, please let me know... if it is GF I will happily return and give it another shot.
