Westside Hotel - Dubbo

Great meal times that were more fantasies than expected and very tasty: fast service and friendly staff

Booked for dinner because it was very close to where we were staying in the fabulous Dubbo, just a few roadworks made it a little challenging to walk to. This is a terrific hotel to enjoy, lovely staff and very hardworking catering staff who want...to ensure that you enjoyed the food. Personally I can definitely recommend the Barramundi with arancini balls and satay sauce so, so, fabulous, loved, loved it... Seriously don't waste your time going somewhere else for beautifully prepared food and such a great economical price, the wine list is quite extensive and comprehensive, yes you quest it we loved it.

The Hotel has loads of style and is very cosy, staff are lovely and food is very tasty. Your belly must be bigger than your eyes (large meals). Overall it was an excellent experience. Nice place to eat out.

Love going to this place for the friendly environment. The Snitty is amazing! My family and I come here regularly. Only let downs - specials are always the same. Chilli chicken fettuccini has been on the "specials" board for about 12 months! - Ladies toilets the locks are always broken which means there is really only 1 toilet available for use. unsure if they are constantly breaking or if they are never fixed.

We were staying at the Ibis Budget Motel and was walking to Hungry Jacks for dinner when we spotted the Westside Hotel and decided to give it a try. The decor is smart and modern. The menu seemed a little basic but that made it easier to chose a meal. We started off with the parmesan & sweet chilli bread. It came out quickly and was very good. For the mains I had the Swiss Chicken Breast with ham (it was a bacon rasher), cheese & mustard sauce with chips & a side bowl of salad. The mustard sauce was a little too overpowering for my liking. The chips were delicious. The meals are huge and I couldn't finish it all. My husband had T-bone steak with Bombay sauce. He asked for his steak to be cooked medium rare, but it was rare...very rare. We had no idea what Bombay sauce was (we still don't) but it was very tasty and went well with the steak and chips. I had a Blue Cosmos cocktail and I would have liked another but couldn't get anyone to serve us on the dining room side of the bar. My husband even went around to the front bar and still couldn't get served so I had to settle for a glass of water, which is self serve at the bar but unfortunately is room temperature.
