Homely restaurant and brewery. Very pleased with the service and food was much better than I would expect from a city I never heard of before. Never had Elk burger but was a good one to start. Salmon BLT delicious too. Get some good sides to choose from. Had tomato basil soup and German potatoes. Microbrewery in back made a decent beer. Would come back again if in Dunsmuir.

I'm not a beer drinker, but this has got to be the best beer in the state. So good. It must be the local waters. The food is good. Try the elk burger. And I love, love, love that they brew root beer. More breweries should do that.
